Ajax

Ajax vom Bernsteinsee joined the pack in April 2009. He was born on October 4, 2008 as the offspring of Rina vom Balkanhoff and Waldmann vom Liether-Moor. Both parents are rated HD-free. The breeder, Uwe Herrmann, is a local hunter with a particularly good eye for Deutsch Drahthaar quality and who keeps his dogs fit managing the wild boar population in Brandenburg and across Germany.

Ajax completed his Spring Natural Abilities Test (VJP) on April 17 and 24 and will take the fall tests (HZP and additional trials for a utility dog) in September and October 2010. Although the primary task intended for him beside being a companion for Ari is to hunt, his gentle, confident personality leads us to think that he too may have a future as a therapy dog.
