Mona Lisa sent us some new puppy pictures today!  The differences in their colors and coat lengths are becoming apparent now. They all look soooo cuddly!

Mona Lisa sent us some great pictures of the puppies in action today – they have moved into new housing and were outside enjoying the sunshine! I’m really looking forward to meeting them in person – can’t wait for August!

Mona Lisa sent us new pictures of Wagga’s and Ari’s puppies – they are two days old! Aren’t they gorgeous?

After the good news about the birth of the six puppies, we spent the day grinning and passing out dried beef tendons as treats to Ari’s friends. Wagga had her litter today! There are 6 puppies in total – 3 boys and 3 girls, ranging in weight from 412 to 510 grams. The first three came naturally, but Wagga’s contractions were quite weak, and so a Caesarean section was necessary to deliver the last three. As soon as Mona Lisa saw that [...]

I scanned Wagga today. Puppies are alive and kicking. You could see heads and even jaws, spine, 4 legs, eyes – terrific!
Now they are so big that they are in each other’s way when I scan, so now that is my problem for counting when scanning. Also everybody came in to have a look, [...]

Wagga’s appetite is up and down, as one would expect during pregnancy, so we have sent her a small package of goodies to tempt her a bit.  But she is happy, healthy, and working hard at hunting, as shown in this picture of one of the bucks she tracked down this weekend!
